JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for providing a broad range of support to the Human Resources department by assisting with a variety of Human Resources responsibilities and initiatives. Job duties will be special projects as assigned, assisting with processing benefit enrollments for Medical, Dental, Vision, assist with Workers Compensation, assist with New Employee Binders and other administrative duties as necessary and other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES LIST AND DESCRIBE:
Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, proven ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic environment, proficient in Microsoft Office and internet savvy.
Must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
