Greets Guests in a friendly, hospitable manner with a SMILE and EYE CONTACT within 2 minutes.
Expert product knowledge of all lunch and dinner food offerings, good working knowledge of outsert features and promotional entrees. Appropriately suggests items to enhance the Guest experience and achieve check average goals.
Knows the brands of Liquor, Beer and Wine available. Familiar with Specialty Cocktails. Able to answer Guest questions about beverages and make recommendations.
Immediately enters all food and beverage orders into the Micros system.
Follows the Guest Service Pace guidelines.
Participates in team food and beverage running to ensure beverages are served within 4 minutes of Guest ordering, and food is served within 1 minute of being ready.
Completes at least two check backs with Guest after entrees are served; first check back 1 minute after entrees are delivered, second check back 4 minutes after first check back.
Follows all State liquor laws and Company ServSafe Alcohol policies, including proper ID checking, responsible beverage service, and ensuring no one under 21 is served alcohol.
Maintains station organization, neatness and cleanliness throughout the shift; removes plates, dishes, silverware and condiments as Guests finish, keeps tables free of empty and unneeded items.
Presents check to Guests when no further sale is indicated, payment processed and change/charge slip returned within 4 minutes with a Thank You.
Sincerely Thanks Guests as they are leaving and invites them to return.
Assists Busser in clearing and resetting tables as Guests leave. Ensures tables in station are properly and neatly set according to standards.
Adheres to and applies all Food Server Standards of Excellence.
Follows Company cash handling guidelines and turns in all amounts due at end of shift.
Completes assigned ongoing and end of shift side work and other duties as requested by Management.
