SCAD Savannah seeks a senior compliance manager to be responsible for ensuring the legal and ethical integrity of the university through investigations, policy enforcement, and training.
In this position, you will ensure that staff, faculty, and students comply with all federal, state, and local laws and the policies and procedures outlined in the SCAD Governance Policy. Using your analytical skills, you will interpret policies, develop training materials for different audiences, and conduct training presentations.
The successful candidate is adaptable in ever-changing environments and accomplishes multiple tasks with ease, prioritizing as needed to meet short deadlines. The candidate should possess exceptional decision-making and conflict resolution skills and a detailed knowledge of the development, revision, and execution of policies. Excellent organization and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information. Experience developing and delivering training presentations is preferred.
- At least five years of HR or compliance experience
- Knowledge of employment and/or anti-discrimination laws
- Direct experience in employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary action, performance management, etc. is preferred
