As the Admin representative in charge of the reception area, the receptionist is the first point of contact for the company and will provide administrative support across the organization. The receptionist will handle the flow of people through the office and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. The receptionist is the support system for not only the Admin manager but for all other managers and their reports in the office.


  • Serve visitors and employees by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
  • Answer, screen, forward any incoming phone calls, and clear voicemail daily
  • Provide information to callers and office visitors and direct them to the correct destination
  • Maintain the flow of the office by controlling access to office personnel
  • Reserve conference rooms as requested by managers or office personnel
  • Retrieve faxes throughout the day, date stamp, and deliver to recipients.
  • Handout paychecks, employment/income verification's, and other documents issued to employees for pick-up
  • Employee file creation, daily filing, and all upkeep of filing room
  • Responsible for employee uniform distribution and tracking
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception desk and reception area
  • Take and relay messages
  • Distribute Applications
  • Assist with application verification's
  • Contact new hires for fingerprinting
  • Send denial emails/letters to unsuccessful applicants
  • Open the office at 8:00 AM
  • Assist in projects and other duties as assigned


  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook a must
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work additional hours when needed
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour
