The Server/Bartenders are responsible for serving restaurant and bar patrons at the restaurant, restaurant bar, and pool bar, in addition to preparing tables, greeting and seating customers, taking and delivering orders, as well as processing payments, bussing dishes and cleaning the restaurant and bar after service. This position is a seasonal position and will primarily work service shifts during season. The Server/Bartenders are expected to execute all functions of dinner service, including setup and breakdown of restaurant and assisting with events and banquets. This position must have extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, beer and wine, and ability to deliver an excellent customer service experience to Members and guests. Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and the ability anticipate the needs of Members and guests are required to do this position well. Prior experience working in restaurants or bars is required.
Schedule - 8-12 Hour Shifts which may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner

Thoroughly set up restaurant prior to each dinner service, ensuring restaurant is clean, organized, and presents a high quality, Yacht Club/Country Club style atmosphere for each dinner service

Create an atmosphere that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed

Take accurate food and drink orders
-
Adhere to cocktail recipes and deliver consistent quality at the bar

Check identification to ensure customers are legal age to consume alcohol

Clean floors and tables after each shift is completed

Process payments efficiently and accurately, as well as balance register

Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime when required

Other duties as assigned by Manager

Technical and Physical Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous bartending experience required

ServeSafe certification preferred

TIPS certification preferred

Customer Service experience preferred

Working knowledge of spirits and related beverage items

Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol
