ALPLA is currently seeking a Night Packaging Operator for our Bethlehem, PA location!

Main Purpose of the Job:
Accurate packaging of produced bottles by following all packaging procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate multiple types of packaging equipment. Equipment may include, but is not limited to:
- Carton erectors
- Partition inserters
- Product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU)
- Foil dispensers
- Top closers
- Palletization equipment
Manual Responsibilities Include:
- Building and make boxes
- Hand packaging of bottles
- Visual Quality Checks
- Perform Change over’s of divers packaging equipment (eg case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, …)
- Applies correct labels
- Housekeeping
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Min. 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Capable of lifting 25 pounds and to stand for a minimum of 12 hours
- Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously
- High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area
The shifts we run are 6 hours shifts (3,2,2,3 schedule). For example - one week you work Monday, Tuesday and off Wednesday, Thursday then work Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Then the following week you would be off Monday, Tuesday and work Wednesday, Thursday then off Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
The hours are 12 AM - 6 AM (with a $1.50 shift differential for night shift).
