AIMCO Equipment Company is a leading sales and service provider for restaurant equipment and supplies in the state of Arkansas and we are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate individual to support and help grow our company through their position as Accounting Manager.

Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting performance of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, timekeeping, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting and reconciliations. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager and Corporate Controller.

Job Description

  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
  • Job Costing and Construction accounting and billing
  • Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans
  • Monitor the financial performance of the company
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Communicate financial metrics to senior management
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll information
  • Develop and maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives
  • Assist staff when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills as this position interacts regularly with all other departments within the organization
