The front-end Web Developer reports directly to the senior web developer and provides direct front-end development support for web assets including HTML page templates, HTML landing pages, email templates, etc. As an integral supporting team member, a solid understanding of HTML5/CSS3, Web accessibility, front-end jQuery or javascript, XML, Photoshop, Illustrator, server-side code, and cross-browser best practices is fundamental in this role.

Support senior web developer with front-end development of web pages, web assets, and emails
Maintain web assets through audits and correcting front-end errors
Provide support to marketing team for deploying text and graphic content to web pages
Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly and identify and correct coding
Great attitude with high degree of customer focus
Team player, supportive and cooperative with colleagues

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Self-managed; able to work independently or with a team as required
Ability to perform under pressure and short deadlines
Create responsive HTML web pages for web CMS
Work with designers to strengthen UX through rapid prototyping tools
Build email templates
Support email communications with supporting HTML, in-line CSS and testing deployment
Work with senior web developer to build dynamic features for websites
Communicates technical parameters and constraints to relevant teams
Provides innovation in digital media
Collaborates with authors to streamline publishing to digital channels (i.e. websites, digital advertising, social media, etc.)
Develop fully functioning websites or emails from Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketch or Adobe XD
Optimize web assets
QA websites and troubleshoot errors
Supports nThrive’s Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other laws applicable to nThrive’s business practices. This includes: becoming familiar with nThrive’s Code of Ethics, attending training as required, notifying management or nThrive’s Helpline when there is a compliance concern or incident, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and demonstrable awareness of confidentiality obligations
2+ years’ experience in front-end web development with an eye for craftsmanship in visual design; custom coded email development experience utilizing a CRM (Pardot, Marketo, etc.) with personalization;
Proven expertise in utilizing a content management system to develop website pages; ability to demonstrate cross-browser compatibility
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Proficient understanding of optimizing websites for improved load experience
Curiosity in what makes an online user experience successful
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and accuracy
Driven to solve problems, refusing to be stopped; a bit of a perfectionist
Willing to research and learn the skills needed to excel in the role
Excels at problem solving and approaching problems in multiple ways
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, graphic design or related field
Familiar with SEO
Experience with Crownpeak
Strong UX skills and understanding of Usability
