Harris Hands Community Service, Inc is looking for a Direct Support Professional/Driver as well as Matrons and Com Hab/Respite Service. We have no overnight shifts available.
Qualifications for this position must have:
- Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D (transcripts or diploma documentation required)
- Must pass all four OPWDD background tests
- and reference will be required
Duties```
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities daily
- Assist individuals with daily outdoor activities, including personal care
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
- Engage individuals in recreational and social activities
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided daily and reflect on monthly summaries
```Experience```
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluency in English is required
The ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is also a plus
- Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Experience with data entry and phone etiquette
- Ability to analyze situations and problem-solve effectively
