Specialty Silicone Products, Inc. in Ballston Spa NY is looking for an energetic, detail oriented Accounting and Data Entry Clerk to work in our Finance department. This role is best suited for someone that is organized, detail oriented and thrives in a fast-paced multitasking environment. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Additional hours may be needed during Month End close.

As a part of the Finance Team, the Accounting and Data Entry Clerk is responsible for:
-Assisting in processing of daily production records by entering into ERP, review for gross margin variances, Assist with errors and missing sign off tracking.
-Accounts Receivable - Daily deposits into ERP, Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable to General ledger, Monitoring aged invoice reports to ensure timely collection of receivables, Assists with daily customer invoicing
-Month End Reconciliation: Assisting Senior Accountant and Controller with month end close including account reconciliation and investigation of discrepancies.
-Assist with General clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, ordering supplies and working on special projects such as scanning, excel projects and anything else that might come up.
Experience preferences for the Accounting Clerk Position:
· 2 Year or 4 Year College Degree in Finance or Accounting
· Successful track record in Customer Service, 2+ years Strong ERP experience
· Microsoft Excel Proficiency
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Problem Solving Capabilities
