Adoption Coordinator (Caseworker III or IV)

Full Time, Bargaining Unit Position: Responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of GCCS Adoption Program; including the provision of casework services to children in permanent custody of GCCS and the completion and maintenance of adoptive home studies. Also serves as the Permanency Roundtable Liaison for the agency and coordinate those meetings per the pilot project requirements. Performs paid emergency duty services on a rotating basis. Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with LSW beneficial or License eligible in the State of Ohio, or Bachelor's Degree in related field. Must hold a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain automobile liability insurance. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to relate to individuals from various social, economic, and cultural backgrounds. Must pass pre-employment drug and criminal background checks. Adoption Assessor Certification, PCSA Case Management experience, Completion of OCWTP CORE training, SACWIS proficiency, Knowledge of state & federal Adoption rules/laws, public speaking experience.
