The Computer System Analyst II supports the Joint Readiness Training Center-Instrumentation System (JRTC-IS) Help Desk, coordinating expeditious resolution of IS maintenance trouble calls with emphasis on resolving computer hardware issues.
Job Details:Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensuring the IS hardware and software are fully operational and available for scheduled rotational support missions.
Receiving trouble calls and analyzing issues to provide resolution.
Making accurate, timely and complete entries into the Management Information System (MIS).
Managing and maintaining hardware and software including the exercise database, and loading new system software.
Provides functional direction for lower level assistants.
Supports other TADSS as required.
Some travel may be required.
Minimum Job Requirements
B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science or Math or 6 - 8 years of equivalent job experience.
4 years’ past experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or related position.
Prefer past work experience with the JRTC-IS.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Proficient with basic computer systems including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.
Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and be adaptable in a high paced environment.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and Post driving privileges.
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Possess a Secret security clearance
