Enterprise Services & Portfolio Management – Business Support Consultant platform services team

To support those needs, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) group is responsible for Agile Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Services, Product Development and Cloud Enablement, Engineering, Operations & Site Reliability Engineering, and Business Services & Governance.
Within the Chief Technology Office, the Enterprise Services & Portfolio Management (ESPM) team provides technology strategy and solutions for the tools and data supporting Enterprise API and IT Service Management, Portfolio Management and Enterprise Business Process Management functions. ESPM provides the tools, data, and API services necessary to run the business of IT and to manage enterprise services.
A qualified candidate will aide in running the business and provide platform operational support for the ESPM platform management team. The candidate will be responsible for providing a single pane of glass view of the health and hygiene of IT Service Management, Business Process Management, API Gateway, and IT Data Services application portfolios. The position will partner with competency centers of excellence to ensure successful controls and governance is in place, as well as, create a robust service to ingest, manage, and report on a variety of initiatives aligned to technology currency, vulnerability management, policy exception management, access management, and BCP planning. The roles will also focus on new strategic initiatives, assess the effectiveness of platform function, and develop performance improvement opportunities. Functions supported may include: policy/procedure administration and adherence, systems/change initiatives, business continuity planning, legal and regulatory adherence, SLA negotiation/development, reporting and analysis, process improvement, quality management, communications, and team member processing.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to consult with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for the applicable business functions. Utilizes thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business. Experience leading support functions and/or operations/production oversight for multiple business groups within a Line of Business. Presents to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements.
2+ years of business continuity planning experience
5+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
2+ years of experience working with a vulnerability team aligned to technology
3+ years of Technology Risk Management experience
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning demonstrated through work or military experience
A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
Ability to analyze metrics and articulate data trends both visually and verbally
Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals
Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to manage projects and issues involving multiple technology platforms
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): code control, build and deployment
Knowledge and understanding of system deployment processes to multiple environment regions
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: build/deploy processes, and release management
Other Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) software products like Tableau, Qlikview, etc
Knowledge of macros, scripting, or other query language
Knowledge of risk management tools and processes
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
