Position Title: Information Security Specialist II
Position Summary: The Information Security Specialist II will support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) in cybersecurity technical analysis, focusing on data analytics and robotic process automation. This role involves researching, evaluating, and recommending tools and capabilities for automation, producing visualization and reporting techniques, and maintaining developed capabilities in a shared environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Evaluation:
- Research, evaluate, and recommend necessary tools/capabilities that enable robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to support DAF executive leadership.
- Produce visualization and reporting techniques and tool sets to support the automation of day-to-day operations.
- Toolset and Configuration Delivery:
- Deliver non-proprietary techniques and toolsets, configuration requirements, and business rules.
- Software and Platform Assessment:
- Assess the availability of existing software and platforms available for Air Force use.
- Maximize the use of existing processes for automation platforms and licenses to establish the capability.
- Data Collection and Optimization:
- Perform data collection and other strategies to optimize efficiency and quality by obtaining files or information and maintaining them in a central location.
- Collaboration and Improvement:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to continuously improve robotic processes for automation.
- Identify testing and production plans that can be leveraged for development, pre-production, and potential fielding upon coordination, concurrence, and approval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
- Familiarity with military or government operations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
