Design and drive global integrated marketing plans and regional marketing playbooks to support the departments top priorities. Partner heavily with senior marketing leaders across product marketing, brand campaigns and programs, corporate communications, digital and regional marketing to design and develop a standardized approach to the development of worldwide integrated marketing plans that are regionally relevant and actionable. Ensure that all marketing plans are aligned to Qualcomms business priorities and clearly define marketing objectives, strategies, tactics and measurement. Incorporate Qualcomm data, research, customer insights and analytics as key informing inputs into all marketing plans. Ensure that planning is iterative and ongoing, to be responsive to evolving customer needs, business circumstances, and changing competitive/regulatory conditions. Lead and develop all communications narratives including but not limited to the corporate narrative, and narratives for each business unit and region. Drive the narratives into all Executive communications, platforms and events. Incorporate the narrative throughout the company, and into senior leadership communications. Oversee and deploy presentation coaching. Drive use of, and support for, key narrative points. Develop plans and strategies to socialize the narratives and oversee training and education. Iterate and evolve the narratives to accommodate evolving business needs. Drive traction behind the corporate story, and work closely with the corporate communications team to ensure narrative compliance. Lead the integrated executive communications program. Partner with cross-functional teams to bring plans and deliverables together on a regular basis. This requires collaboration with employee communications, marketing and communications, investor relations, public affairs, geo leads, and regional presidents. Optimize the value of executive speakerships by positioning C-suite executives to be the companys most impactful spokespeople and advocates. Oversee the creation and delivery of multiple keynote speeches, talking points, presentations, blogs and other digital media across executive staff. Also, build out a second level spokesperson network to ensure the messaging program is scalable and drive more voices into the marketplace consistently. Manage the analytics and research team. Elevate the capability and contribution of this team with a goal of becoming integral to business planning and decision making. Develop and implement the CMO dashboard to improve the organizations ability to track progress and report out marketing results to senior leaders within marketing. Define plans and recommendations for improvement on an ongoing basis.
