Sales Manager (Gourmet Stores and Home and Housewares Product Line)

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Sales Manager for our office in La Verne, CA to implement sales strategies for home/housewares product line. Identify opportunities to develop new business; making field sales calls to customers and prospects as needed to maximize the sale of our products. Develop relationships with key retail accounts and assist with pricing and service needs as required. Manage external broker network. Attend trade shows and meet with key buyers and retailers as required.


Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent sales experience. Three to five years of field sales experience desired preferably selling to major retailers in the home/house wares market. The successful candidate has experience calling on Department Stores, Home Specialty Stores as well as Gourmet Stores. Multiple trade channel experience preferred (i.e. food, mass, distributor, etc.). Good problem solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively while maintaining professional relationships with customers and internal staff. Must be a self starter with strong leadership and motivational skills as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Substantial knowledge of MS Office programs with ability to develop and conduct sales presentations required.
