Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Field Technician with hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry who also has a knack for sales. This is an exciting opportunity for a technician who is passionate about not only maintaining and operating equipment but also contributing to the growth of our business. This position begins as a contract role with a competitive base rate plus commission, with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment is delivered, operating, and returned safely and reliably.
- Provide clear and effective training to Client Operators to ensure they find the equipment easy to use.
- Maintain all equipment to ensure it remains reliable and in excellent working condition.
- Gather and relay client feedback to the sales and engineering teams to support continuous improvement.
- Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities during field visits to the sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional service and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness and ability to travel routinely to set up equipment at various locations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 5+ years of experience in oil and gas well testing and/or pipeline construction/integrity roles.
- 5+ years of mechanical experience working with tools.
- Familiarity with oilfield safety programs and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
