About the Role:
As an Associate Product Manager at ACST, you’ll help ensure the company delivers valuable products to our customers. You’ll be a key member of the Realm Product Management team, which identifies and brings to market products and other solutions to grow the business and to meet identified goals. You’ll need a solid understanding of market and user needs to assist with performing market and product research, identifying key product and user needs, and creating business cases for product solutions and priorities.
What You’ll Do:
Work with product managers to prioritize product and market research and to promote a product vision which guides software delivery teams to build effective and meaningful solutions.
Drive the product research and roadmap planning processes for one or more product areas.
Work with customers and prospects to understand, define and prioritize their ministry issues.
Create, organize and maintain research documentation so that all team members can access and understand gathered insights.
Investigate competitive market (including competitor products and their solutions) to develop insight into and recommendations for possible solutions.
Develop and maintain strong product knowledge.
Solicit, clarify and validate input from internal and external stakeholders.
Create scenarios and define market opportunities for assigned initiatives.
Proactively identify problems to solve and work to achieve desired outcomes.
Create recommendations through analysis of data to discover insights and customer needs.
Identify, capture and communicate complex technical and business requirements.
Present research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations.
Understand and help create business case for initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field requiring research and data analysis with 4-6 years of product management or similar experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex analysis of issues
A desire to discover, learn and master new skills and techniques
Effective team member skills
Initiative to seek out learning and insights
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and strategies of teams, without direct authority
Demonstrated knowledge of Realm (or similar ministry solutions)
Willingness to work effectively with churches and church leaders across the full Christian marketplace
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
