Job Summary: The Computer Systems Analyst will provide day-to-day hardware, software, and network support to end users, including Sisters and employees.
We are looking for an experienced information technology professional who can contribute to the growing technology needs of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Community. The primary duties of this role include asset inventory and lifecycle management, assisting with network management duties as directed, and assisting computer users in solving problems in a large campus environment.
Job Duties:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Responsible for maintaining computer hardware inventory and lifecycle management for all end-user systems.
- Ensure software patch management across all end-user systems.
- Create and modify user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware by utilizing Help Desk Ticketing software.
- Respond to queries in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Ask questions to determine the nature of a problem.
- Install and modify computer hardware and software.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure up-to-date and secure information systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-4 years of experience in an information technology role.
- 5+ years of experience in information technology roles for Senior positions.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating end-user documentation preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with Audio/Visual equipment is a plus.
Preferred experience with the following:
- Windows Operating Systems in an Active Directory domain environment.
- Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Entra, including MFA and Authenticator support.
- Familiarity with computer hard
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft ware pertaining to installing new computers and peripherals and transferring user data.
- Printer installation.
- Supports the SCL philosophy of caring, compassion, and concern.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform sedentary work, sitting at desk and/or typing for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry and push up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
