As a Help Desk Technician at Founders 3, you will be essential in supporting and maintaining our IT systems and infrastructure. You will work under the guidance of our IT Administrator, collaborating with various departments to address their technology needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. This full-time role offers a dynamic and supportive environment where your expertise and contributions are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze and evaluate IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
· Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware promptly and effectively.
· Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues.
· Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
· Assist in planning and executing IT projects, including system implementations and migrations.
· Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for enhancements.
· Educate team members on technology and guide them through problem-solving processes.
· Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wireless Networks (WiFi), and other systems.
· Perform triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of desktop support issues, including hardware, software, OS, telecommunications, and network-related issues.
· Document tickets in detail, including symptoms, causes, and resolutions.
· Add and remove users to various systems.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
· Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in a help desk or similar IT support role with 2-3 years of experience.
· Strong knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
· Experience with system maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
· Familiarity with MS Office / Microsoft 365, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi or Hyper-V.
· Familiarity with iPhone and Android smartphones.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco), as well as scripting and programming experience are a plus.
