BROAD FUNCTION: HRIS Business Analyst (HRIS BA) is an experienced professional with a full understanding of HR and Talent Acquisition processes. They resolves a wide range of issues in creative and effective ways. They apply business analyst best practices and knows how own area integrates with others. An HRIS BA is developing depth and breadth of knowledge in a HR and Talent Management business acumen and can translate business needs into clear technical requirements. An HRIS BA should have working knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and will develop a depth of knowledge on how it’s implemented at IPG. The HRIS BA should also have developing knowledge of competitive vendor offerings in the market.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of business processes or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Good understanding of business processes & how they translate into clear and concise business requirements & use/test cases for technical/developer teams to design system solutions.
Documents business requirements and in some cases performs configuration in systems.
Works with key business partners, developers, and peers beyond own discipline and area of expertise.
Receives direction for new assignments with minimal instructions on day to day work.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA required, preferably in HR Management, Business Administration, or MIS/Computer Science preferred
3+ years Peoplesoft HCM experience preferred
Project Management experience a plus
