A Day in the Life of a Facilities & Construction Project Manager:
You'll be responsible for Hair Club's construction and facilities related initiatives. This includes new center construction, acquisition of new locations, renovations and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
Collaboration with our National Real Estate Broker on determining new site selection, lease renewal remodels and center upgrades.
Working with architects and space planners to ensure that Hair Club's build out specifications are met.
Conducting due diligence, making recommendations on new FF&E products and materials to be used in the construction and current location remodels.
Reviews contractor's bids. Makes recommendations and assists in negotiations and selection for best possible economic outcome.
Coordinates with contractors for the delivery and installation of FF&E and infrastructure requirements (e.g. phone & data line cabling and cabinetry) for new construction and facilities projects.
Acts as Corporate liaison to the field to provide trouble shooting and problem solving regarding daily maintenance such as plumbing, electrical and equipment issues.
Coordinating with contractors, service providers and vendors for new Center build outs, remodels, upgrades and maintenance.
Ensures facilities safety protocols are in place and routinely conducts facilities inspections to ensure locations are up to standard.
What You'll Need:
Minimum 4 years Commercial Construction experience with a successful proven Project Management track record.
University or college degree (preferably Architecture, Engineering or Construction related).
Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage multiple projects at one time.
Willing to travel a minimum of 50%.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
