Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Regional Compliance Manager - Healthcare - to join our team!
-Potential remote-based position with travel requirements.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to Chief Compliance Officer with certain operational initiatives, facilitating and conducting compliance audits, and providing compliance education. Intake and review internal/external audit results for systemic concerns or potential overpayments, recognizes and summarizes audit results that require corrective action or additional review. Responsible for compliance and privacy activities for the assigned region. Review, assign for investigation or handling, and conduct follow-up to ensure resolution of compliance hotline reports; prepare reports and keep compliance committee informed as to nature and number of hotline reports. Facility auditing and monitoring (risk assessments), rounding, issue tracking and reporting, and follow-up on any corrective action or performance improvement plans. Assists, in coordination with other organizational functions such as human resources, legal, and clinical operations, in educational and training programs focusing on the elements of the compliance program to ensure that the whole staff is knowledgeable of and comply with applicable federal, state, and industry standards. Assists with development, implementation and updating of compliance policies and procedures, Annual Compliance Work Plans, as well as assisting with periodic review and updating of the compliance plan and program to help ensure continued program effectiveness and inclusion of new, revised or amended laws, rules or regulations. Travel to facilities to provide onsite program assistance and conduct onsite compliance audits. Position requires 25-50% travel. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience in compliance related position
  • 2-4 years in compliance related position, healthcare compliance experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of healthcare laws, rules, regulations and/or regulatory compliance
  • Experience conducting legal/regulatory research preferred
  • Healthcare Compliance or HIPAA Privacy certification preferred
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of office equipment, such as, printers, copiers, fax machines, and postage meters
