The team merchandising group plans and purchases uniforms, warm ups, materials and fan wear for our multi-million team business. The Multi-Sport Merchandiser would oversee the assortment planning, forecasting, and procurement of multi-sport inventory in a fast paced environment with opportunities to shape and lead this growing segment of our business. Collaborating with marketing, sales and vendors the multi-sport buyer will play an active part in creating sales initiatives, forecasting, reporting and merchandising the website.

Responsibilities:
Manage vendor relationships with multi-sport partners including negotiating pricing and terms, determining product assortments and resolving conflicts.
Oversee life cycle of product assortments from item set up to liquidation.
Collaborate with marketing on print, digital and marketing sales tools to support inventoried product assortment.
Work with Inventory Planners on pre-season analysis and building/updating forecasting tool assumptions and trends.
Audit and track multi-sport forecasts and adjustments from Club Forecasting and Planning software (CFP). Work with sales reps and forecast team to address forecasting issues.
Analyze inventory and forecasts to determine additional product needs, return or liquidate slow selling goods and cancellations with vendors.
Evaluate fanwear assortment and designs to determine additional needs for specific sports.

Requirements:
Strong understanding of retail math including analyzing margins, mark-ups, turn and profit/item.
Proficient in MS Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups and advanced data analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have 4 year college degree or equivalent
Three to five years experience in merchandising, procurement or supply chain management.
Experience with volleyball, baseball/softball a plus.
Ability to work independently and proactively, a self-motivator.
Ability to handle multiple projects at once without sacrificing attention to detail.
