Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pharmacy operations, providing expert patient care, and overseeing the daily activities of the pharmacy. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of pharmacy operations, including the supervision of pharmacy staff and the coordination of pharmacy services.
- Provide expert patient care, including the preparation of medications, the management of patient medication regimens, and the provision of patient education and counseling.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures, including those related to patient care, medication management, and pharmacy operations.
- Conduct utilization reviews to ensure that medications and treatments are being used effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies for pain management, including the management of acute pain and the provision of alternative therapies.
- Manage the pharmacy's inventory and supplies, including the ordering of medications and equipment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy residency programs, including the mentorship of pharmacy residents and the development of educational programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure that patient care is coordinated and effective.
- Develop and implement strategies for patient care, including the development of patient care plans and the provision of patient education and counseling.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a pharmacy residency program, preferably in pediatrics.
- A current license to practice as a pharmacist in the state of <CA>.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks as needed.
- Experience in pain management and utilization review.
- Strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $74.00 - $80.00 per hour
