ClearBridge Investments is seeking a Business/Quality Analyst to join our New York City based Technology Team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in joining a growing Asset Management firm. This role will be focused on primarily systems testing and support of other IT Governance processes and controls: change management, IT program management, cybersecurity and business continuity. The ideal candidate should possess strong technology skills, excellent written/oral communication skills and the ability to handle the responsibilities outlined below:
Key Business/Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities
Understand key project requirements and develop test strategies and plans
Document test cases and perform and track functional, intergration, regression and other various tests
Work closely with development team to understand technical requirements
Proactively identify and communicate possible system issues during daily development team meetings
Provide test results and reports regularly
Maintain test case suite and documentation
Key IT Governance Responsibilities
Support Change Request process for technology implementations and configuration changes
Maintain documentation on policies and procedures for business continuity, change management, program management, cyber security and vendor management areas
Perform project task management across multiple initiatives involving various technology teams
2-5 years of quality assurance experience (preferably in asset management) including direct experience with agile projects
Background in business analysis and information systems
Understanding of project management
Desire to be an integral team player across multiple teams
Familiarity with process/workflow design in Atlassian JIRA software or similar tool a plus
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a high-risk environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail
