General Summary of Position:
We’re looking for a talented sales intern to work alongside our sales professionals who will focus on new business development by selling our voice and data telecommunication products and services to C-level and Director level decision makers. If you are a highly driven, self-motivated individual, with a positive attitude, and competitive spirit, then Granite will provide you an exciting and lucrative career opportunity. Position Status: Temporary
Position Duration: Fall Internship September-December (Flexible start and end dates)
Working towards bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Access
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospecting, cold calling, and selling our products within designated Regions to multi- location Companies.
Responsible for selling traditional POTS – “Plain Old Telephone Services”: Local and Long Distance
Responsible for selling advanced Data services such as MPLS,VPN, VOIP, SIP Trunking, Cloud based PBX, and dedicated internet access.
Build and maintain a sales funnel and pipeline.
Explain and demonstrate the features and values of our business to C & VP level.
Optimally work with the Granite Engineers during the customer sales cycle.
Identify prospect needs and develop proposals.
Close deals and maintain positive relationships with clients
