Vosges Haut-Chocolat fuses spices, nuts, roots, herbs, and liqueurs from around the world with super premium, luxury chocolate. Our founder, Katrina Markoff, is a pioneer of the exotic chocolate movement. Katrina seeks to harness the power of storytelling through the medium of chocolate to open minds, spirits, and palates.

To that end, Vosges Haut-Chocolat produces premium chocolate bars, unique, high-quality chocolate confections, and luxury chocolate gifts in our production plant located in the Roscoe Village neighborhood in Chicago. The team is devoted to pushing the leading edge of chocolate innovation with an eye toward the adventurous.

The Director of Marketing is responsible for the strategy, planning, and delivery of all marketing activities enterprise-wide. The Director is the resident visionary and subject matter expert for all brands in service to creating a lasting and legendary guest experience. They must credibly articulate the vision, mission, and unique brand features under the Vosges Haut-Chocolat and Wild Ophelia banners. The Director reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Develop strategic, implementation, and communication plans for the following areas:
Traditional marketing
Public relations/social media
Digital marketing
Work closely with sales teams to identify priorities for each channel and provide tools, materials, and presentations for maintaining consistent brand voice
Build and lead internal marketing team
Establish priority project plans for design and creative teams, setting project priorities and strong art direction
Partner with product management team on marketing materials, programs, and promotions
Oversee social media presence to ensure consistency and reputation management
Analyze market trends, competitive environment, campaigns, and consumer behaviors, adjusting strategies and tactics as necessary
Allocate resources to balance brand goals with business requirements
Lead messaging management for all channels and audiences
Develop strategy for managing guest lifecycle considering awareness, acquisition, trial, retention, and lifetime value while balancing personalization, attribution, segmentation, and loyalty
Create and maintain an archive of legacy brand information, materials, presentations, and any other collateral
Stay current on new approaches and competitive set analytics in all sales channels
Serve as key liaison between Vosges Haut-Chocolat/Wild Ophelia and outside partners
Spearhead marketing activation for offsite events and experiences
Select, guide, and manage agencies and other external resources related to marketing

Experience in the food, travel, cosmetics or luxury goods industries
Demonstrated success managing brand voice, brand consistent content, and brand training
Experience in high-growth environments
Strong commercial mindset and understanding of marketing power necessary to drive revenue
Ability to prioritize business opportunities with fact-based approach
