Technical Qualifications

State Bar of California uses the Microsoft, Salesforce & IBM “stacks” including ASP.NET, SQL, MVC, C#, client-side browser technologies as well as backend functions in MS SQL and DB2, i5.

The Senior Information Technology Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining internal, external facing web as well as backend applications.

The candidate will be working on multiple projects at different stages of the project lifecycle simultaneously. It is important that he/she have a strong background in developing and supporting scalable, maintainable, high-quality, and high performing applications

Technical Requirements

  • Develop and maintain features in .NET custom and Salesforce applications
  • Contribute to creating feature specifications and technical design schematics
  • Troubleshoot, support, and build upon pre-existing technology solutions within existing architecture/patterns
  • Contribute to requirements gathering, analysis and design activities
  • Contribute to facilitating acceptance testing procedures and monitoring results
  • Contribute to performance and load testing procedures and issue remediation
  • Create database models and build out models using SQL Server, and DB2
  • Create Stored-Procedures, SSIS packages, developing SSRS Reporting and SQL Jobs
  • Create multi-tier web application using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AJAX, AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET, C#, Web Forms, Telerik Controls and
  • Experience in SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) web services over the SOAP client and Server using HTTP protocol
  • Experience with source control tools like SVN, TFS and GitHub (or similar).
  • Cloud application implementation over Azure or other platforms (i.e. Google Cloud and AWS) experience is a plus
  • IBM i5 development experience is a plus
  • Salesforce experience is a big plus

Equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major

coursework in computer science, information technology or a closely related field. Possession of one

or more approved information technology certificates and/or completion of other approved technology related training may substitute for some or all of the required education.


Two years of full time, progressively responsible experience in the analysis and troubleshooting of

computer applications and operations is desirable.
