This position develops marketing strategies designed to effectively communicate what we stand for and ensures all efforts are focused on raising brand awareness, acquiring new customers, supporting business priorities and remaining relevant with our customers. A key focus for this role will be the Canadian market. The role will be based in Seattle.
A day in the life...
Develop and own large-scale brand campaigns across all marketing channels, including digital media, social media, print, OOH, email, in-store signage, site placements, mobile placements/push and public relations
Work closely with the project management, creative and fashion office teams to ensure alignment on approach and flawless execution
Partner with key stakeholders and other Marketing team members to anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans to drive positive outcomes
Maintain exemplary knowledge of the customer, marketplace trends and business performance and serve and evangelize this knowledge while building marketing strategies
Effectively manage third party providers and/or agencies as appropriate
Assist in the development of the department budget; and ensure our budget aligns to the overall marketing priorities.
Lead testing and innovation to optimize marketing effectiveness and return on investment
You own this if you have...
A Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications or marketing preferred
5+ years of marketing experience across multiple facets of marketing, including brand management and/or managing analog and digital channels
Marketing experience in the retail industry OR marketing experience at an agency preferred
Experience creating and delivering presentations to senior leadership
Superior storytelling and communication skills in person and via word/email/PowerPoint
Proven experience in successfully managing national marketing campaigns
Prior experience in marketing planning and strategy
Demonstrated success in setting marketing goals, writing marketing briefs and leading cross functional groups through concept development and execution
Deep understanding of consumer media (analog and digital), marketing, events and PR
Ability to build strong relationship with peers and senior leadership
