Regency International, a well-established importer of Christmas, permanent floral, home & garden décor and decorations, established in 1962, is looking for a full time sales representative to cover the area of NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, and ME. Additional territory may include Ontario and Quebec.
Experience in the home décor/decoration industry would be required. Must live in the territory. Compensation will be by commission on sales. Must be comfortable using a sales order program on a laptop for order taking and quote preparation. Proficient computer skills a must. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook a requirement. Daily communication with customers and the company, based in New York City, is a requirement of this position.
Must be a full-service sales person with traveling being a major part of the job. Position would require a small van, SUV or truck for travelling through the territory at least three times a year with current samples provided. Duties include traveling to trade shows in Atlanta and Dallas where the company has permanent 10,000’ showrooms at least 4 times per year, meeting customers in our New York City showroom, and acting as a liaison between customers and customer service. Compensation includes all travel and show expenses and health insurance.
