Duties:
- Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide medication counseling
- Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and potential adverse effects
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret physician orders
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and reviewing prescription orders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to address medication-related issues
