Accountabilities / Responsibilities
The Physician Office Liaison/Surgical Scheduler is the key point of contact with our physician offices, maintaining a professional relationship to help ensure the success of the center.
Minimum of 2 years surgical procedure scheduling required
Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 Codes, demonstrates knowledge of insurance verifications and authorizations including a strong knowledge of ASC-based allowable procedures
Ability to prioritize and work independently, in conjunction with utilization of critical- thinking and problem-solving skills
Have the ability to communicate effectively with patient, payors, physicians, and other teammates
Attention to detail with verification of information entered into data base system to include, but not limited to, correct spelling of name, DOB, phone number, etc.
Will handle multiple physician schedules daily while ensuring accuracy of information given and received
Minimum of 2 years surgical scheduling
High school diploma, or equivalent, required
Associate’s Degree, or equivalent, preferred
