This position is responsible for delivering effective and engaging learning and development programs for Edwards Delivery Systems employees at our Draper manufacturing facility, and for ensuring knowledge transfer between the sites in Draper and in Ireland. This position actively works with business and HR leaders to understand and link day-to-day training needs and longer-term professional development needs into an annual prioritized training plan for the site with necessary funding and infrastructure to support.

Partner with Business and HRBPs at the site to understand longer-term workforce strategy for the site to ensure development priorities and plans are aligned with business strategy and priorities
Consult and partner closely with leaders in each department to lead the implementation of role-based development plans
Leverage Corporate Learning &Development (L&D) COE and Global Supply Chain (GSC) Capabilities and Competencies models to help assess and create development roadmap for the site
Establish and manage training plan for the site
Establish an effective knowledge transfer process between the sites in Draper and in Ireland
Lead a small team of trainers responsible for day-to-day delivery of training and on-boarding activities for manufacturing personnel at the site
Lead the implementation of new hire on-boarding for hourly manufacturing professionals. Partner with L&D COE leaders to build upon Edwards-wide on-boarding programs
Design and create on-the-job training and other learning and developmental activities required for developing core and technical competencies, and maintenance of required knowledge and skills
Support HRBPs and managers in the creation of role-based on-boarding plans
Deliver and/or facilitate the effective delivery of trainings targeted to professional and higher level employees
Work with leaders and managers to establish a “post-training” skill reinforcement plan for critical roles within the site to improve ROI on learning investments
Proactively work with managers and HRBPs to create individual development plans for Top Talent employees at the site
Partner with relevant COEs to make the case for development of new training programs/initiatives to address gaps in learning curriculum when needed
Identify key metrics and develop evaluation processes to ensure learning and development program effectiveness. Perform complex cost analysis of results and ROI in training and identify potential improvement opportunities and propose and implement solutions to optimize training process
Partner with HR Business Partners to leverage Talent Development Reviews and performance management processes and tools in order to build effective individual development plans
Engage and align with Corporate Centers of Excellence (COEs), especially Technical Learning, Leadership Development, Talent Management and Edwards University. Coordinate with QA and Operations training to develop Edwards-wide L&D programs. Act as a cultural change agent for the site through efforts related to employee engagement

Required Education/Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Human Resources Management or related field required
8 years of prior work experience required, with at least 3 years of direct learning and development work experience. Other related work experience includes: Operations, Business Process Improvement, and Human Resources (HR business partnering, organizational change management, and leadership development)
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Prior experience in supervising others is preferred
Proven expertise in usage of MS Office and LMS
Expert understanding of related aspects of learning and development processes and systems
Excellent presentation, influencing, relationship management and facilitation skills required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to perform in an environment of change and ambiguity
Ability to perform and interpret needs analyses and translate the findings into actionable plans
Strong business acumen with the understanding of the business as the foundation for driving productivity through people
Strong experience in driving and handling projects through managing multiple stakeholders as well as having good experience in demonstrating ROI and value propositions
Ability to read, comprehend, write and speak English
