POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Innovation team at United Way Worldwide is seeking an intern to assist in projects related to communications, marketing, and content creation. This intern will work closely with the Senior Director of Innovation to complete marketing and communications tasks on an ongoing basis.

This internship will run from January 21, 2019 to April 26, 2019.

PRIMARY PROJECTS:
Work with the Innovation and Marketing teams to enhance digital assets and web presence including web design, social media, blog posts, video, and more.
Create and update marketing materials such as presentations, product sheets and partner reports.
Copyediting for various communications related to Innovation.
Assist with other projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of marketing and communications practices and social media.

Experience in journalism, digital marketing strategies, graphic design, marketing, and/or computer science a plus.

Organized, creative, and analytical thinking skills.

Quick-learner, with a can-do attitude.

Comfortable working daily with a computer to complete work.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and proven ability to learn other software and technology.

Ability to multi-task. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
