Responsibilities:
The Account Coordinator will support the business to drive on-time project delivery, flawless execution, and contribute to growing client relationships! Familiarity with agency environments and phases of Customer Marketing programs including: planning, budgeting, creative development, data processing, production, billing, auditing, and results tracking is a MUST. In addition to ensuring clear communication from start to finish in order to exceed client expectations, the Account Coordinator will interface with all team members (Account Executives, Account Supervisors Account Directors, Project Managers and Creative) in order to ensure programs are organized on-time and successful!

A successful Account Coordinator shows proficiency in the following areas:

Marketing Expertise

Development of campaigns and projects, including review skills and independent analysis and interpretation of data
Fundamental understanding of client’s business and Javelin’s role in delivering valuable offerings, ideas and points of view
Supports team in creation of campaigns and specific assigned responsibilities
Communicates and coordinates with internal departments and traffics the development of program elements
Composes and edits external correspondence associated with tactical development and coordination
Creates and takes advantage of opportunities to learn and share current and future marketing and media developments and trends
Proactively seeks to expand skills in other client work/industries

Strategic Business Stewardship

Assists in the management of client updates for assigned tactics
Aware of client’s annual goals and objectives
With direction, incorporates client strategic goals into projects
Translates data into actionable insights and initiatives
Responsible for tracking budgets and managing timelines
Enters time and submits invoices by deadlines
Monitors monthly billing for accuracy and timeliness

Client Engagement

Communicates and builds rapport effectively with clients and opinion leaders; able to effectively obtain and share relevant information
Participates in client meetings both onsite and offsite
Is proactive, organized and responsive to client needs
Proactively seeks opportunities to consistently deliver compelling points of view
Curious mind - asks good questions to gain a better understanding of the project and it's goals
Obtains client approvals and is tenacious about meeting deadlines, staying organized and managing peak workloads in order to respond to client needs

Qualifications Required:
1-3 years of related work experience - internships count!!!!
Exposure to marketing teams environments, agency preferred
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external clients
Understanding of marketing industry business and economic developments and their impact to the client
Excellent attention to detail
Proactively seeks out information and assignments
Effective communicator, both verbal and written
Strong presentation skills - or interest in developing these!
Strong MS Office skills; especially Powerpoint and Excel
Proactive thinking and communication
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent preferred; or equivalent training, education and experience
