Position Description As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
  • Configure IP networks consisting of switches, routers, firewalls, and network monitoring devices
  • Manage daily operations of IP networks

Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with LAN switching, routing, NX firewall, and network monitoring tools (primarily Cisco technology)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and dynamic routing protocols
  • Experience configuring and maintaining HP switches
  • Ability to configure, implement and troubleshoot issues with LAN/WAN infrastructure
  • Create and maintain design documentation and network topology diagrams
  • Interface with service and equipment vendors
  • Follow established IT service management procedures for change management
  • Participate in technology integration efforts and projects with other cross-functional teams, as needed
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours during maintenance windows, planned moves, etc.
  • Ability to travel as needed
