Human Resources Co-Op - (20000734)
The Human Resources Co-Op will provide the Human Resources team with the analytics and support related to diverse HR activities such as labor relations, talent management, performance management, HR metrics, personnel files maintenance, policy and procedure updates, etc. The HR Co-Op may also be the project lead on any department HR projects. Assistance with negotiations preparation and other initiatives, including data analysis, logistics and presentations.
Howmet Structure Systems, located in Cleveland, OH, is a heavy industrial manufacturing plant which employs approximately 800 people and produces over 60 million pounds of aluminum, titanium, magnesium nickel alloy, and steel forgings. The site produces unique, engineered products in a wide range of configurations, sizes, and tempers for aerospace, military, and commercial vehicle applications.

Attending college on a full-time basis, pursuing a degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources or related field
The ideal candidate will be in their third year of studies, allowing a longer-term assignment, which could potentially lead to a full-time employment
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team and independently
Ability to research best practices
