Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is seeking qualified college students for its robust Internship Program in Software Engineering and Systems Engineering. IDT is the industry leader in developing game-changing automated testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for large, complex systems.
Interns work alongside our team using powerful, patented technologies to facilitate the delivery of revolutionary capabilities for our customers in the Department of Defense (DOD). These include Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and Virtualization.
We have openings in three of IDT’s offices, including Arlington, VA; Fall River, MA; and Mt. Laurel, NJ.
All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance.
IDT’s Summer Internship Program offers students the opportunity to learn from experts and perform meaningful work in a professional environment. IDT interns gain valuable hands-on experience and solve real-world problems. In this program, students can expect:
A 10-12 week program during the summer
Social and team building events with other interns and employees

Qualified candidates should be enrolled in a B.S. or postgraduate degree and have a strong academic record. Additional desired qualifications include:
Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar
Strong academic record
Completed coursework/experience in application development with JAVA or C++ in a Linux or Windows environment
Experience with any of the following: MATLAB, Perl, Python, XML, Eclipse, UML design, VMWare or virtualization technologies a plus
Current college juniors/rising seniors preferred
