Position Overview: The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Creative Director who will partner with the Director, Coca-Cola Studios to lead the transformation of an in-house creative agency. The Creative Director is responsible for inspiring and leading world class creative work from concept to delivery. This includes overseeing and contributing to concept strategy and development, design and implementation of integrated concepts that both support and amplify the provided brief and strategy. The successful candidate will be building and leading a world class design team. This critical leadership role will be responsible for establishing the creative direction, style and methodology for the entire team and will play a significant role in re-defining the purpose and vision of the group. Additionally, the Creative Director will evaluate, coach/mentor and hire creative talent to support both current and planned capabilities as the team evolves. This role offers incredible growth potential including the possibility of global project work and team building.
Function Specific Activities:To be successful in this role, you should have:
Prior experience as a creative director or associate creative director, preferably with both agency and client-side experience working with consumer products
Evidence of prior success in re-positioning a creative agency or internal creative team
An impressive portfolio of award-winning creative work that demonstrates mastery in concept strategy and execution
A thorough understanding of what makes for compelling work, regardless of medium, and an ability to generate ideas that get talked about and get results
Experience balancing the constraints of project timeline and budget against the inherently messy creative process
Confidence leading a variety of teams and project types across all creative practices/disciplines
Significant management and mentoring experience
Outstanding presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to inspire great ideas and work within multidisciplinary teams
Superior collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skill
Self-motivation and strength in balancing competing priorities

Specific job responsibilities will include:
Creative Team Management
Attract, retain, develop, coach and mentor top creative talent
Manage and mentor a team of discipline leads, ensuring effectiveness of team output and adherence to project demands
Motivate and inspire the creative team toward flawless delivery
Lead internal review sessions and provide clear and objective critiques of creative work
Partner with leadership to establish and champion clear strategic vision and purpose for the team and support integration of disciplines into “one team”
Continually work to raise the bar on quality while consistently delivering on project constraints
Oversee knowledge sharing and sponsor learning within the team
Coordinate regular team meetings to share best practices, align on process and build camaraderie within the team
Oversee concept strategy and deliver creative solutions that delight clients
Remain current on, and educate team around, industry trends and techniques
Continually evaluate the creative process and capabilities within the team and seek innovative and efficient ways delivering design services
Identify and build new capabilities within the team to remain competitive with external agencies and other thought leaders in the creative space
Assess the creative needs of the business and continually evaluate and align talent and capabilities against those needs
Participate in meetings with potential clients to present past work, discuss needs and identify opportunities.
Lead the development of presentations and other materials to promote use of Coca-Cola Studios
Create and maintain “case studies” pertaining to the work of the team for use in demonstrating capabilities and results Own creative approach and provide level-of-effort estimates to Project Managers during proposal phase of project initiatives
Network with decision makers throughout the organization, educate them about capabilities and encourage use of Coca-Cola Studios
Partner with colleagues in other Design teams throughout the business to remain continually aligned on the latest branding initiatives and changes to guidelines
Lead and advocate for brand activation initiatives with both internal and external audiences as requested
Aid in achievement of full cost recovery through charge back
Build awareness around creative successes both within the team and to the business
Oversee creative award entry process (as appropriate)
Select and develop partnerships with key suppliers that supplement and extend offerings
Bachelor's degree required
8+ years of relevant experience
