Plantation Patterns, a division of NBGHome, is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality outdoor cushions and umbrellas in the United States. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our distribution center Warehouse team. This role is a first shift, exempt position reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
This role manages a dynamic and passionate team of warehouse personnel to achieve and maintain the goals of our inventory and warehouse plan. Working with warehouse and operations management to perform and manage daily warehouse activities, the Warehouse Manager promotes a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Duties include training and supervising warehouse associates and supervisors; working with Inventory Control to maintain accurate inventory; and maintaining records for all equipment, materials, and products. Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, this role assists in leading the team in making warehouse processes/responsibilities more efficient.

Strategically manages warehouse operations in compliance with the Company’s policies and vision.
Oversees receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
Sets up layout and ensures efficient space utilization.
Initiates, coordinates and ensures compliance with optimal operational policies and procedures.
Adheres to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
Maintains standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
Manages stock control and reconciles with data storage system.
Assists in preparing annual budgeting.
Liaises with clients, suppliers and transport companies as needed.
Plans work rotas, assigns tasks appropriately and evaluations results.
Selects, orients, coaches and motivates employees.
Prepares reports and manages company approved Key Performance Indicators (KPS’s).
Receives and monitors feedback on the quality of services provided to internal and external customers.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Supports, interacts, and communicates with all departments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Accepts special projects as assigned by supervisor.
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through, time management, and multi-task abilities.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read and understand measurements and tape measures.
Ability to operate a forklift; must be certified within three (3) months of hire.
Lifting and moving boxes will be required.
Team player that works well within a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Able to work independently with limited supervision as well in a team.
High School Diploma.
Two (2) years Inventory Control and warehouse experience.
Five (5) to (7) years of management experience preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
If necessary, must be able to work overtime and weekends with little notice.
