The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes use technology to connect with customers, employees and partners.

As Head of Business Performance Management in the Americas (AMER) region, you will be responsible for creating the core materials to drive the business. This can include forecast calls, bi-weekly and monthly reviews and driving core analytics on areas like pipeline creation and agreement velocity. You will partner with AMER leadership and provide strategic and operational insights to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations for action. You will also drive automation and improvement of reporting processes and partner with the central Business Intelligence team to address reporting errors, manage quota setting process and monitor Travel and Expenses and Operational Expenditure for the AMER region.

Manage the definition of core metrics, including proposing and aligning with leadership and regularly re-evaluating choice of core metrics. Identify internal datasources across internal systems and teams and ensure data hygiene.
Lead analytics and metrics processes and prepare data packs to inform business planning, resource allocation, quota setting and more. Define and manage agreement pipeline tools and processes, run business review cadence, manage calls and respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests.
Work with AMER leadership and other members of the Strategy and Operations team to identify insights and actions to improve performance. Compare AMER performance to other regions and identify potential best practices.
Liaise with Global teams to influence evolution of reporting infrastructure and push for upstream data hygiene. Build AMER infrastructure and tools.
Oversee quota setting and Operational Expenditure management.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, Business, Operations, Statistics or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in finance, management consulting or corporate strategy.
Experience in team management, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading operational and strategic initiatives and managing direct reports.
Experience using SQL for data manipulation, reporting and quantitative analysis.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience planning and managing at the strategic and operational level.
Experience with a complex, globally scaled product, sales and engineering environment.
Knowledge about cloud technologies, products and market landscape.
Ability to present to executives and communicate with highly technical management teams.
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and manage and coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical skills.
