Production Worker Packing Dog & Cat Supplements - (Machinery Operator & Sanitation)

We are a small, but growing third-party certified & FDA registered food (aka human) grade pet food & human dietary supplement manufacturer and online software developer. Our focus is on the veterinary market with various patented products designed for dogs and cats used globally. We have a custom-built facility located in Woodland, CA (next to Davis & Sacramento) that offers employees a work environment with very high cleanliness standards, plenty of natural lighting, respect for employee growth, work/home life balance, and much more!
Job Description
-Machinery operator, packaging powdered dog and cat supplements using *new* semi automatic filling lines
-Line setup/breakdown
-Machinery sanitation & preventative maintenance
-Batch production record documentation
-Warehouse organization
-Forklift operation. *We will provide training & certification*
-Facility sanitation
-Input in process continuous improvement
-Follow all written and verbal work instructions and SOPs
-Time management & communicating with fellow employees
Qualifications*
-Able to work independently AND in small group when needed
-Ability to speak, read, and write in English required
-Previous manufacturing experience is highly valued but not required; we will train the right candidate.
-High School Diploma or GED required
-Eligibility to work in the United States
-The ability to pass a fit-for-duty physical exam, background check, and drug screening prior to being hired.
-Must be able to lift and carry boxes up to 55 pounds.
-Must have a good work ethic.

Wages & Hours
Starting Wage: $22.50 Per Hour
Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday (with a half hour lunch, and two 10-minute breaks), Fridays 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM (with one 10-minute break)
*Currently, full Covid-19 vaccination is required to be employed. All current employees are fully vaccinated and have provided proof of their vaccination(s) to the company. New employees will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their first day of work as long as this is supported by California labor law at the time of hire. Employees are required to stay up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccines, including booster shots when available.
