Global Licensing and Retail is looking for an experienced merchant to lead its Coca-Cola Store at the World of Coca-Cola. This individual will be responsible for end to end store operations in a dynamic, growing the business through financial results and guest service in a high traffic tourist environment. As store manager and people leader, you will be responsible for cultivating a highly engaged workforce to deliver exceptional guest experiences and memorable moments for every shopper!
Function Specific Activities:
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
Responsible for fully operational execution of the retail store and off-site warehouse
Continually recruits, hires, trains, and retains associates and managers; identifies internal associate talent and provides opportunities for career path development
Responsible for managing and executing overall store standards to be consistent with Brand Standards
Drives overall profitability for store focusing on total store sales and expense control
Ensure compliance with all of the Coca-Cola Company Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) (i.e., execution of all cash handling policies, bank deposits, execution of company data integrity process and physical inventory)
Partners with Retail Operations Director and Human Resources for employee relations matters
Ensures weekly, monthly and annual payroll budgets are managed to plan
Partners with Retail Marketer and Merchandising team to ensure plans and other merchandise directives are executed
Oversees successful receiving and stocking procedures are properly followed and maintained
Ensuring exceptional customer service is executed by all associates through training for high levels of customer engagement and role modeling ideal behaviors
Manage the day to day performance and development of warehouse manager and multiple associate managers and lead associates.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma
Related Work Experience:
At least 5+ years of experience as a store manager in a major “Brand image” retailer or Specialty retail environment

Retail Industry: Knowledge of the retail industry (e.g., retailers, competitors, trends, visual merchandising, general business environment) related to multiple channels of distribution (e.g., mass, supermarket, convenience and petroleum, category chains, gifts and specialty)

Execute and Lead Guest Service Strategy: Leads and executes the guest service strategy at the store level, to include guest service training for the staff, holding managers and supervisors accountable to executing guest service standards and other guest service expectations
Financial and Business Acumen: Achieves financial objectives by reviewing daily, monthly and annual key performance indicators (i.e., revenues, conversion rate, SPH, Labor as a % of sales, avg. transaction, etc.), analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions. Communicate ways to drive the business and manage performance of associates and all controllable costs to maximize shopper traffic, sales and profit of the store
Labor Management and Coverage: Forecast and monitor labor hours on an annual, monthly, weekly and daily basis to ensure labor plans are met along with other key objectives. Cross-utilize talent to maintain productivity. Proactively partners with HR and other partners to ensure labor needs are met, employees are trained and ready to meet the demands of the business
Operational efficiencies and effectiveness: Strong ability to direct the execution of store operations to achieve process optimization (FOH and BOH) and effective results. Reduce shrink/loss by driving compliance to guidelines involved with safety, loss prevention, and cash-handling procedures
