The Orbit Analyst/Flight Dynamics Engineer performs the following functions and analyses:

Pre-mission orbital analyses for satellite missions in a variety of orbit regimes (e.g. LEO, GEO, Cis-lunar)
Launch window analysis
Concept of operations (ConOps) development
Mission sequence of events definition
Propellant budgeting analyses and on-orbit fuel requirements and mission lifetime estimates
Maneuver planning and optimization analyses
Orbit determinations to specify tracking system parameters, define the orbital state, and predict orbital events
Planning and operational support for orbit transfer and station keeping maneuvers
Satellite rendezvous and proximity operations planning and analyses
The candidate should possess strong computing skills with familiarity with Systems Tool Kit (STK), Matlab, Python, C#, C/C++, Visual Basic, or Fortran. Understanding of issues in scientific and numerical computing and developing simulations of physical systems is an asset.
