Summary

Administers payroll and benefits. Assists with compensation practices and employee wellness initiatives & operations.

Job Duties

Responsible for maintaining all payroll and time and attendance functions, including preparing and processing of bi-weekly payroll.
Compiles and analyzes payroll data to ensure the correct accountability and payment of salaries, wages, garnishments, and deductions.
Reviews labor hours submitted by departments, verifies accuracy and generates weekly reports to assist in controlling overtime.
Distributes payroll checks and payroll reports to department leaders.
Works with People Systems and Analytics Staff to input new hires, process changes, terminations, track benefits, change the coding, and determine hours worked.
Reports and maintains records for all leaves of absences.
Completes verification of employment requests.
Supports employee benefit programs and communications, employee leave processes, workers compensation reporting, and risk management documentation/reporting.
Promotes superior guest service, while working directly with employees and managers in resolving any pay or benefits discrepancies.
Performs other related duties assigned.
Follows all regulatory controls and maintains compliance with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong organizational and report writing skills.
Must have a working knowledge of accounting principles and be competent in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
