Advanced Programs team has an excellent opportunity within our Pricing & Estimating organization as a Sr Principal Proposal Analyst. This position is key to maintaining and developing new exciting business by responding to bid request and RFI inquiries. The Proposal Analyst is responsible for the completion and accuracy of price and cost proposals. This shall include but not limited to all non-recurring cost estimates/special assignments, new business proposals, follow-on development proposal and legacy pricing where price/cost history does not exists. This individual must be an analytical thinker, a problem solver and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities often shift.
Responsibilities include develops, plans and schedules proposals. Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost modes to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings. Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. Participates as a member of the contract negotiation team.
Bachelor's Degree with 10 years Proposals / Business Management / Cost experience; or a Master with 8 years of experience
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other government regulations
Proficient in MS office application (excel, word, and PowerPoint)
Current DoD Secret clearance
Must be analytical and detail oriented
Persistence and tenacity to meet deadlines in a challenging multi-tasking environment.
