The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance in executing the daily administrative and clerical operations for recruitment activities supporting Driver Recruiting. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager. This position requires a high level of confidentiality dealing with a variety of personnel and management issues. A high level of accepted Human Resource practices and procedures will be utilized in this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Champions the candidate experience - engages in answering employee requests, questions, and inquiries.
Provides assistance in areas such as DOT employment verifications, background check, MVR, and PSP processing for applicants.
Involved with coordinating information from candidates for completion of the employment packets.
Communication point of contact (POC) with candidates, and acts as liaison for 3rd party medical facilities and occupational health clinics, scheduling pre-employment physicals and drug screens.
Conducts file review prior to orientation and coordinates with the Human Resource Representative to make sure files are complete.
Participates in corporate driven projects, communicates issues, concerns and questions, and understands changing project requirements and best practices.
Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.
Perform other duties as assigned by management. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree preferred and one year related experience and/or training. Human Resource or Recruiting experience preferred.
