Responsible for maintaining required controls related to reporting systems and procedures around system processes.
Maintain accuracy of reporting systems (HFM-DFSCal, Essbase-DFSRptg, Essbase-CFR cubes, Microgen), this includes validation of data as well as oversight and review of statistical data loaded to Essbase-DFSRptg.
Responsible for maintaining cost center, GL account, statistical account and statistical entity structures in HFM-DFSCal and Essbase-DFSRptg. This includes ownership of the cost center and GL accounts databases and statistical account and entity maintenance process. Provide final review of change requests and ensure all controls are maintained. Support implementation of improved cost center parameters.
Provide ad hoc project support, as requested. Examples of ad hoc support would be the creation of new legal entities, support for Microgen upgrades, and future enhancements.
Manage, coach and mentor members of the team including direct and indirect reports (e.g. finance subject matter experts, system architects, business analysts, project managers)
Develop and maintain strong business partnership relationships with Finance teams to ensure systems landscape (current and future) are aligned with business.
Maintain certain tasks (calendars, close timing, updating user groups) in the Microgen accounting system and review system reconciliation.
Oversee administration of month-end compliance reconciliation application T-Recs including month-end maintenance, user access review, and configuration updates.
Promote a risk-aware culture that proactively seeks to mitigate risk where appropriate.
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
8+ years of experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, Finance or related field
MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to own and streamline processes
Must be able to interact effectively with varying levels of management and have the ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to team members
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines within short timeframes a must
