Job Overview:

The HR Operations Assistant supports Akamai’s HR Operations and Talent Acquisition teams in a variety of projects and tasks. This role is key to the successful onboarding for new hires.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling interviews and arranging logistics between candidates and recruiters, managers, and interview teams.
  • Perform audits of data entry, new hire information, and various other data points
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR related and sensitive matters
  • Manage Background and employment checks
  • Assist with records retention
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Excel and Microsoft office products
  • Experience with HRIS or ATS systems a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think flexibly and re-prioritize tasks as needed

Skills:

  • Skill 1 – Attention to detail
  • Skill 2 – Strong communication skills
  • Skill 3 – Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products, including Excel and Outlook

Education:

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $15.00 to $17.50 /hour

Experience:

  • Human Resources: 1 year (Preferred)
